What is Routes Reconnected?

Routes Reconnected is a brand-new virtual event designed to bring the global route development to stimulate recovery and support the re-establishment of air services across the world, following the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the industry.

Why is Routes Reconnected taking place?

Driven by demand from the route development community, we understand that there is still a need to discuss, negotiate and work together to overcome what has, and continues to be, one of the most challenging periods that the industry has ever faced.
By launching Routes Reconnected, we will provide a virtual forum that will support all our global partners in collaborating and navigating a new era of partnerships. Read more about how Routes Reconnected will be critical in stimulating the industry’s recovery.

Why has the event been changed from a hybrid event to a purely virtual format?

We initially launched Routes Reconnected, as our first global event since the onset of the pandemic, to support the community in connecting and collaborating, as we enter the most critical period for aviation in living memory.

We have been monitoring global travel restrictions and government guidelines whilst planning for the event, working closely with colleagues in our Amsterdam office. Following the recent announcement from the Netherlands government, and after careful consideration, we took the decision to make Routes Reconnected a purely virtual event. Read the full statement about the change in format of the event.

When will the event take place?

Routes Reconnected will take place from Monday 30 November – Friday 04 December 2020. View the full event programme for further details about meetings, on-demand, and conference sessions as well as networking opportunities that will be available across the five days.

How will Routes Reconnected work?

Facilitated through our bespoke virtual platform, 30 November, 3-4 December, will include virtual meetings, CEO interviews, airline briefings, and speed networking sessions. Our on-demand content and an intuitive digital platform will allow delegates to connect with their peers and build diaries wherever they are in the world. The virtual event platform for Routes Reconnected is now open.
