First time at Routes World?

We recommend business attire for the three business days of Routes World. For the Welcome Reception and Networking evening, we recommend smart casual attire. 

You will need your delegate badge to gain access to all events at Routes World 2024. You will receive your badge QR code a few days before the event via email. You can print your badge ahead of the event and pick up a lanyard and badge sleeve at registration.

You can also collect your badge at Badge Collection on Sunday 6 October at the Event Venue or the Welcome Reception. Please have the barcode on your delegate badge email ready at Badge Collection. If you are joining us later you can collect your badge at the Event Venue from 8am on Monday 7 October. For more information view the event programme.

Airlines, Airports, Tourism Authorities, Industry Suppliers and Economic Development Agencies from across the world will be at Routes World 2024. You can view the full attendee list here.

Delegates can compare and sort hotels by distance, price and TripAdvisor rating on our dedicated webpage, hosted by our official hotel provider, HotelMap. We still have several hotels available within Manama and also close to the event venue. View and book official hotels in Bahrain.

Our hosts and travel team are currently working on the Airport and Transfers. Please complete our Travel and Hotel Details form to help inform our event transfer arrangements from the airport and Official Hotels. 

Currently, all nationalities entering the Kingdom of Bahrain need an entry visa, except for the Gulf Cooperation Council nationals (Kuwait, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar). Please check with your local embassy for any additional entry requirements and how to obtain your visa. If you are registered as a meetings delegate, you can request pre-scheduled meetings from 22 July for airline, airport, tourism authority and economic development organisation delegates. Routes 360 members can request meetings from 15 July. For supplier delegates, the meeting request system will open on 30 September.

After 30 September, you can access the on-site meeting system and request additional meetings. Find out more information here on how to use the meeting request system.

Your draft meetings diary will be available from 4 September and you can access it via the Meeting System and the Routes App.

Fast Track provides additional opportunities to meet with airlines, allowing you to have quick 5-minute introductions with your target airlines. Fast Track is open to all delegates and there is no need to register – all attending airlines will be sat at their designated tables in the Airline Meeting Halls.

2. Meetings are more than presenting information, they are about building relationships.
3. Understand an airline's network, fleet, business model, alliance relationships and strategy.
4. Present content that is visually appealing and easy to digest.

The Welcome Reception will take place on 5 October, ahead of the first day of the event at the Bahrain International Circuit.

The Networking Evening will take place on 7 October, location to be confirmed.

No, you do not need to book to attend any of our conference sessions. You can freely turn up to any sessions you wish to see.

Many key leaders and decision-makers will be speaking at Routes World 2024. Previous speakers included: IATA's Regional VP, Peter Cerdá, ACI EUROPE's Director General, Olivier Jankovec, Pegasus Airlines' CEO, Güliz Öztürk, Royal Jordanian's CEO Samer Majali. The Routes Event App for Routes World 2024 will be available in September 2024. Once you have downloaded the app, download Routes World 2024 to start your access to the latest event.

To gain access, log in using the email address used for registration, along with your first and last name. You will then receive a verification code to complete your registration. Please be aware this can take a few minutes to come through and may be sent to your junk/spam inbox.
