Sliac Airport

SLIAČ AIRPORT is joined civil-military airport. Airport is located in CENTRAL SLOVAKIA region in ideal location in the territory of Central Slovakia, right in the middle between two metropolitan cities of this region, Zvolen and Banská Bystrica.

Airport was closed from May 2009, because there was carried out a reconstruction and renovation of the RWY. Airport Sliač is re-opened for civil air traffic since 16th June of 2011.
Airport provides services to all civilian air carriers - presently charter flights and flights of general aviation. Airports's catchment areas shows existing market of regular amount traveling passengers.

In 2012 the airport handled 25 527 passengers. NEW DEPARTURE TERMINAL will be OPEN in JULY 2012.
