About the Host

The 18th Routes Asia will be hosted by the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Danang Tourism Department, Danang International Airport and Danang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT).

The Da Nang Department of Tourism is a specialized agency under the Da Nang People's Committee. This department takes responsibility of advising and consulting the municipal People's Committee to manage tourism administration across the city in accordance with the law and regulations. The Da Nang Department of Tourism has legal status, has its own seal and account; under the management and direction of the organization, payroll and operation of the Da Nang People's Committee; meanwhile, it is under the direction, guidance, inspection and professional examination of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam.

Danang International Airport (DIA), branch of Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) - one of the three busiest international airports in Vietnam. With the capacity of up to 15.5 million passengers in 2019 and modern equipment system, DIA has attracted more than 30 airlines operating 40 routes to/from 11 Asian countries such as Korea Republic, China, Japan, Doha, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, etc. DIA constantly invests in modern equipment with upgrading infrastructure in order to contribute to improving service quality with safety, comfort, and convenience to passengers. In 2020, DIA is honored to receive the award "Top 10 the world's most improved airlines" voted by Skytrax. In the context of the Covid-19 epidemic, DIA always ensures the safety goals of disease prevention and effective flight service operations through the Accreditation Certificate (AHA) issued by ACI and continued to renewal in 2022, as well as deploying the Green Corridor program to ensure the safety of aviation operations in the "new normal" conditions.

Danang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT)AHT

Officially coming into operation on 19th May, 2017, Da Nang International Passenger Terminal which has been invested an operated by Danang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) has the annual handling capacity of 6 million passengers. Operating 24/7 in the peak season with 32 airlines flying to 40 destinations and 11 nations, Da Nang International Passenger Terminal has contributed to the vigorous development of tourism and economy of Da Nang city. After serving The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit successfully in 2017, Da Nang International Airport (including Da Nang International Passenger Terminal) was honored to be in the Top 10 of the World's Most Improved Airports at the Skytrax World Aviation Awards and awarded the Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) certificate by Airports Council International (ACI) in 2020. AHT aims to become the top-tier Terminal Operation unit in South East Asian region with successfully constructing quality services supply chain and providing the best possible experience for customers.
