Travel Guidance

To help you plan your travel to and stay in Milan, we have compiled a central source of official information and resources.

COVID-19 Entry Requirements

The Italian Government website outlines country classifications and their entry requirements into Italy. We recommend that you refer to this source, as well as your own government guidance, to ascertain travel requirements relating to COVID-19.

Entry to Italy from the USA/UK - All delegates that are fully vaccinated and can present a negative test result are able to travel to Italy, without having to isolate. This information is in accordance with the Italian Ministry of Health announcement on 28 August 2021.

Visa Requirements

Please check with your local embassy to understand whether a visa is required to travel to Milan for World Routes. Our hosts can provide Visa Invitation letters to support visa applications. Request your invitation letter by visiting our dedicated portal, and providing your email and PRC. Request your visa invitation letter.

Accommodation

Using our official hotel provider, HotelMap, you can compare and sort hotels by distance, price and TripAdvisor rating. Cancellation policies are clearly displayed before booking and can vary depending on the Hotel brand and rate. Cancellation policies can range from 30 days to the day before the booking. We recommend that you read the specific cancellation policy before confirming your booking. View official hotels.

Travel Insurance

We would recommend that you ensure your organisation provides a comprehensive travel insurance policy or sources your cover. This can ensure that you are covered for cancellations or amendments made as a result of COVID-19.

Onsite Testing

Please refer to the Health & Safety webpage for more information about available onsite testing and entry requirements.

Returning Travel

Please check with your destination country's own specific guidance on entering, as you may be required to take a PCR test and/or isolate. Onsite testing is available as above if required.
