To help delegates plan their travel to and stay in Milan, we have compiled a central source of official information and resources.
COVID-19 Entry Requirements
The Italian Government website outlines country classifications and their entry requirements into Italy. We recommend that delegates refer to this source, as well as their own government guidance, to ascertain travel requirements relating to COVID-19.
Entry to Italy from the USA/UK
All delegates that are fully vaccinated and can present a negative test result are able to travel to Italy, without having to isolate. This information is in accordance with the Italian Ministry of Health announcement on 28 August 2021.
Delegates should check with their local embassy to understand whether a visa is required to travel to Milan for World Routes. Our hosts can provide Visa Invitation letters to support any delegate’s visa application. Request your invitation letter by visiting our dedicated portal, supplying your email and entering your PRC in the password field. Request visa invitation letter
Using our official hotel provider, HotelMap, delegates can compare and sort hotels by distance, price and TripAdvisor rating. Cancellation policies are clearly displayed before booking and can vary depending on the Hotel brand and rate. Cancellation policies can range from 30 days to the day before the booking. We recommend that delegates read the specific cancellation policy before confirming their booking with HotelMap. View official hotels
We would recommend delegates ensure their organisation provides a comprehensive travel insurance policy or sources their cover. This can ensure that a delegate is covered for cancellations or amendments made as a result of COVID-19.
If delegates require a negative test result to return to their country of origin, the Routes team will be able to provide details for the nearest testing facility nearer to the event.
