A trip to the Barossa Valley is a must for anyone visiting South Australia.  While best known for its wine, there is a gourmet food scene that is equally as delicious.

In a small group, you will first travel to the Barossa and stop off at the Barossa Cheese Co.  A haloumi cooking demonstration will get your mouth watering before you begin the day with a paired cheese and wine tasting.

Maggie Beer is an icon of Australian cooking.  Visiting her farm shop, you can sample an array of delights.  They encourage visitors to wander around the shop and take the opportunity to taste all the products; in fact, this is the only place in Australia where you have the chance to see and try just about every product in the Maggie Beers range.

You will need to save room after your visit to the Farm Shop for lunch at The Farm Eatery.  Led by Maggie’s youngest daughter Elli and Chef Tim Bourke, you will enjoy a private dining experience with the “trust us” menu…an ever-changing seasonal menu that is sure to delight.

Lined by distinctive palm trees, the drive to Seppeltsfield vineyard is almost as picturesque as the cellar door itself. Join one of the property’s wine educators on a private tour and tasting for a behind the scenes look through the Estate’s treasure trove of historical buildings and spectacular surroundings.
