Visa Information

Under Australia's universal visa system, all visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia. However, New Zealand passport holders will normally be granted a Special Category visa on arrival provided they meet health and character requirements and permanent residents of Norfolk Island may be granted a Permanent Resident of Norfolk Island visa on arrival.

There are many visa options available to people wishing to visit Australia. The appropriate visa option will depend, amongst other things, on your purpose for visiting Australia.

Visa Invitation Letter

In addition to the visa application form, embassies may also require a letter of invitation from the local host. If you require a letter of invitation, this will be provided by The South Australian Tourism Commission.

Please complete the online request form. It must be completed in full, ensuring accuracy throughout. Changes to any application may cause significant delays in processing times.
